A little bit about Roxanna…

Roxanna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Geography from the University of the Fraser Valley and completed her LLB (Honours) in International Human Rights Law at the University of Leicester in 2016. Her honours research examined the commonalities between early security and torture laws enacted during the Irish “Troubles” and post-9/11 security legislation.

Called to the Bar in January 2020, Roxanna practices Immigration, Corporate, Wills & Estates, and Family Law, delivering sophisticated legal counsel through a personalized, boutique approach. Her practice combines legal excellence, strategic counsel, and personalized service tailored to each client’s needs.

With a particular focus on Canadian immigration law, Roxanna advises and represents clients in matters involving permanent residence, family reunification, citizenship by descent, refugee appeals, refused immigration applications, and complex citizenship matters, including “Lost Canadians” applications. Her approach combines strategic legal advocacy with personalized, attentive service, ensuring that each client receives sophisticated legal counsel tailored to their unique circumstances and objectives.

In addition to her legal practice, Roxanna works as a business coach to lawyers transitioning from large firms to opening and growing their own practices. She brings a values-driven, strategic approach to helping lawyers build sustainable and fulfilling careers.

Outside of her professional work, Roxanna enjoys spending time with her family, hiking her favourite local trails, and sharing her passion for traditional fiddle music.
